Fieldguide to Caille Carbs

HOME

Brief Carb Notes:

Mixing valves: Used on all rowboat motors and Liberty Singles. Early mixers had two knobs and the Caille name cast on. One knob for poppet height adjustment and one for fuel.

Zenith Carbs: Used on Scout, Pennant, and Liberty Twin.

Barrel type: Used on Master 5-Speed Twin, and models 20, 22, and 30. Also on 10 and 12, but these two had a brass poppet valve between the carb and the crankcase.

Tillotson carbs: Used on all Red Head Motors, both singles and twins. The Tillotsons came with 5 different kinds of air horns.
